I thought that I'd escape seeing frat rumbles - or at least see less of them since there's less space there to actually have a frat rumble - since I chose to go to UP Manila.

They don't have rumbles at UP, they have it at Robinsons' Place Ermita. >.< When lots of Pisay people were off shopping for Cris' gift I went off to mail something via LBC and right in the middle of the mall, there was this rumble/chase/etc. happening. It was really disquieting especially since apparently they had come in from the other side of the mall.

Actually, I don't even think they were UP students. Why?

They had the typical high school male uniforms. >_< Maybe it's a frat at their high school...

No, they didn't actually land that much punches on each other. They just ran and ran and pulled clothes and stuff. Then the police came running after them and they ran off into the streets.

If I had gotten there around 2 minutes earlier I would have probably gotten hit by the running men, so I'm glad that I got there late for once. :)

[Edit: No, the guys are probably not from MaSci.]

Today we had our 1st Dept. Exam in NatSci 2 (Geology). Considering that one of my worst subjects in 1st year was Earth Sci, I don't think I'll be waltzing/walking/crawling pitifully towards a 1.00 here. Or even a 1.5. Or even a 2.00. Ah well.

Thursday I had two long exams, Philo and History 5 (History of Medicine). Note that all these three subjects mentioned require heavy memorization. I'd like to give my brain a chance to decompress and I don't know, breathe, but I have yet another test on Tuesday. Guess where?

PE.

Yes, I know. PE. Sadly, I have gotten stuck (since our PE is predetermined for the 1st semester) with the lecture PE. Even sadder is that it's probably one of the few PE classes I can actually participate in. Haha.

Saddest of all? We have these 20 page handouts that we have to read. >.<

Ah well. There go more of my brain cells. *waves goodbye to them*

By the way, something amusing happened because of the old handouts my 2012 buddy (which everyone keeps laughing at, the reason to which I am ignorant) gave me.

We were reading about the parts of the mind and there was this illustration (wellness concept):
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Guess what Dingdong, Joan, and I thought of immediately.

"Uy, circuit!!!"
"Mga resistors!!!"
"Pwede siya masolve!!!"

(Geeky!!!! )

Well, my Imed classmate from Xavier joined in (although I guess he was weirded out by our super-ultra-mega-geekiness).

"Wala naman power source..."

And that was the end of that.

I wonder if anyone else (not from Pisay) would have thought that it looked like a circuit...

I want to drop a subject and drop it now!!! :|

Which subject is this?

Kom!!!

Seriously, I'm getting worried about three things:
1. The little morality/innocence I have diminishing even more with each class/assigned reading (My eyes, they burn!!! And even if you close your eyes, your ears will burn!!)
2. My brain being crammed with stuff about Pacquiao, Pacquiao, and a smidgen of Gloria to top it off
3. The fact that the test I have to take to get into the College of Medicine (NMAT) has an English portion but no Filipino portion (So why am I taking Kom again? Because I was randomly selected to take it, like the other 17 people in my block.) therefore making me less likely to get high in the test than the Block 14 people...

I want to go to the Camia outing on Wednesday but I have classes then :(

Apparently I am not as introverted as I perceive myself to be.

However, I'm still more introverted than most everyone in Intarmed. >.<

My Imed classmate is now technically blackmailing me because of what I write/have written in my lj.

Technically, I really shouldn't care since actually any person can read my blog (except for the friends-only entries, which aren't much).

Of course, it's a whole new ballgame when he threatens to print copies and distribute it to the class. >_<

Actually, I don't mind if my Intarmed classmates see this blog or read stuff from it (although I am ashamed of what they'll think about my stupid relationships with him and him - and yes, I refer to two different people).

I just wish they wouldn't read it in front of me. I don't know why, but I always want to disappear whenever someone reads something I wrote in front of me.

Weird.

Again, sorry for the last entry if I offended anyone. Honestly, I believe that my verbosity only gets me into trouble. See first year, where my little piece about love in a dark classroom made me infamous - and known by a lot of people who probably shouldn't have known me for anything other than that.

(Sort of inspired by Kel's posting a word problem)

I was answering a problem in Math 17 in advance (since I was getting bored of how my teacher insists on adding say constant c to both sides when you can just transpose). I don't like Math as a rule (sorry Jman, Pauline, and Vinni =P), but I was amused by this question. I've never seen anything like it before. (Apparently neither has my seatmate fron Xavier, since he watched me solve it with amusement.)

Question: Two students were solving a quadratic equation given by their teacher. One student made a mistake in copying the constant term and found the roots to be 1 and 4. The other student made a mistake in copying the first degree term and gave the roots 1 and 6. If you were to check their work, what should be the correct quadratic equation? What are the actual roots?

Solution:
(x - 1)(x - 4) = x^2 - 5x + 4 // 4 is wrong
(x -1)(x - 6) = x^2 - 7x + 6 // -7x is wrong
Therefore equation is x^2 - 5x + 6 = (x - 2)(x - 3)
roots are 2 and 3

Oo na, mababaw ang kaligayahan ko. It's amusing :)

Because I posted the aforementioned essay I wrote in first year, Trebor read it for the first time. Because of this, on Wednesday all the Pisay-Dil Intarmed people (except Joanne) decided to devote minutes to figuring out who he is based on my paltry clues.

Noooo it's doomed to be found out considering their intelligence!!! Especially Ardynne's intelligence!!! Doomed, I tell you, doomed!!!

And Trebor didn't like noticed my skirt that day. Actually he said "mataruch skirt mo!" and "mataray skirt mo!" Wearing boots with it didn't seem to help the image... (Trebor, Joan, etc. = gothy, "I am superior to you, don't dare talk to me.")

I should post pictures of said skirt, but I have no digicam. >_< Maybe when I wear it again in UP Manila... but I need a cameraperson...

[/edit] Trebor is not evil :) :) :) Bagay raw yung skirt ko sa akin :) :)

I don't know how I'm surviving without hearing your name from anyone's lips.

And when you get mentioned, it's all I can do to not badger the person with incessant questions.

Thing is, I just want to hear you speak again, and if I can't have that I want to hear about you.

But I can't ask without being obvious, so I'll just not ask at all and hope that you do something outrageous so that even we Pisay people here in Manila will gossip about it. :)
